Among the settlements of the County, Soufli is that which has the biggest flourish thanks to the silk. nfortunately, at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the whole area of Thraka, including the County of Evros, meets the consequences of endo-Balkan competitions and conflicts. hraka was united with Greece in 1920 after the signature of the treaty of Sevres in the end of World War I, and after a period of inter-Balkan administration had passed.
