vros is the only County in Greece that has two biotopes, internationally known for the diversity and scarceness of their species, the Forest of Dadia and the Delta of Evros.

Moreover, an area worth to be visited is that of the river Arda, which flows from Bulgaria, crosses vertically the northern part of the county and extrudes at the Evros river, forming fantastic landscapes along its route. The routes to Kirki, Avanda and Aisymi are of astounding natural beauty.

The caves Bouva, Kagiali and Makri, attract the interest of many travelers, because of their great speleological and archaeological value.

Finally, the shores of the county, both in its continental areas and in Samothraki, are equally beautiful.
