t is a museum that owes much to private initiative but also to the assistance of the local authorities to be created and developed. It was founded in 1985 by the ornithologist Hristos Gutner. It includes a great variety of mummified rare birds and animals which are presented at their natural environment. ome of these rare birds and animals presented here, can be found only at the Delta of Evros, at the Delta of Nestos and at the river Guantalkivir in Spain. The founder of the museum will gladly show you around and answer every question you may have concerning the behavior and habits of every bird and animal.
