ts entrance is located almost on the opposite side of "Pedazono", on the eastern bank of Erythropotamos. Its length goes over 150 m. and its height reaches 30 m. Although the archaeological research in the interior of the cave is incomplete, smithereens of ceramic pots have been discovered in one of its chambers. Perhaps it has been used as a place of permanent or temporary habitation in the past. It has to be noted, that a sample of fossil of a coral which has been found on the entrance of the cave, leads to the conclusion that the whole area was located almost 20 meters below the sea surface and it emerged at some time, in the very distant past. The need for a thorough and speleological research in the area is evident, following this discovery.
